Diane Proctor Reeder and Rev. Dr. Georgia Hill are inviting you on a journey to re-imagine the amazing women featured on the pages of the Bible...real women with real feelings, but even more, women whose echoes can be found in Black women of faith throughout history. Diane and Georgia show the parallels between these biblical women and Black women, famous and obscure, whose faith journeys are eerily similar to familiar and not-so-familiar women found in the Old and New Testaments.

A Cloud of Women Book Reviews

Women of God, this is the book for your women’s ministry Bible studies, retreats, book clubs and personal readings. The content is rich, complex and provocative; a catalyst for true critical thinking and modern day application of the principles of the women studied. This is no shallow, pat read but an invitation to go deeper in your understanding of both Gods Word and how He has used women over time. THIS IS A MUST-READ!

A Cloud of Women Book Reviews

This engaging book takes you on a journey through the stories of women in the Bible, intertwining their narratives with the unwavering strength shown by Black women throughout history. Reflecting on my early years in a Black church that acknowledged the vital role of Black women in the community, the revelation of this connection wasn't just interesting; it struck a chord with me. Black women, in particular, have consistently demonstrated remarkable strength, gracefully overcoming challenges.

The book skillfully captures the enduring impact Black women have made on God's Kingdom. It radiates with joy, celebrating not only their strength but also their resilience and unwavering commitment to bringing about positive change.

Fascinating and thought-provoking, this literary gem proves to be a delightful read, inviting readers to uncover the profound stories of strength and resilience intricately woven into the rich tapestry of history.

I could not put this book down! Reading about women in the bible and matching them with women of color is a wonderful idea. As we approach February Black History Month, it is a perfect way to bring the bible and women of colour together to teach how God is with us during our struggles. Kudos to Georgia A. Hill and Diane Proctor Reeder.
